Accessories and Outerwear

This post has nothing to do with Kwang-hee but you've got to admit that picture is funny. I'm actually quite a fan of ZE:A's stylist(s) (not actually sure who takes care of that) and while I'd love to cover their style, that's for another day. Their outerwear and accessories were pretty cool on that show.

Kate Spade 'it takes all sorts' Faceted Square Ring
This ring is poppin'. As my niece puts it, "I like the rings with the big charms, better." I'm really into the pyramid shape. I'm seeing it a lot lately and I like what I see. The teal on gold combination is a winner. Rings like this look really nice on your hands, even if your hands are tiny. The original price is $75 (which for Kate Spade is reasonable, in my opinion) but... it's on sale at Nordstrom for $36.90 Take it and run (Well, buy) http://tinyurl.com/2fx5unp
Peacock Handbag - French Connection
This apparently has a thin shoulder strap. It's not in any of the pictures so I'm assuming it's tucked inside. Odd. I can't figure out how big it is but I'm assuming it's clutch-sized. I'm loving the peacock design. Oh, it's 100% leather. I know some people don't like stuff like that. I'm half and half. I'd prefer if it was fake but it being real won't always discourage me from buying it. $79.99 http://tinyurl.com/24b4aen

Jonathon Aston Animal Footless Tights
I'm pretty sure these are not the same tights I saw on Go Fug Yourself's Lydia Fugearst post, but they're close. The real ones are eluding me. Then again I didn't look very hard because I really want to finish this post. I'll check later and update. These are out of stock at the moment on Asos.

SO Silver-Tone Smiley Face Leather Watch
I'm a total child, so of course I love this. And yes, it's in the Juniors' section at Kohl's. And I'm still going to buy it. I am constantly warring with the color yellow so the fact that I like this and it's yellow, requires that I purchase it immediately and put it in my makeup box next to the one yellow nail polish that I also happen to love. $11.99 http://tinyurl.com/2cwvrsw

Lowlife - 'Crunch' Design 5 Row Studded Belt (Black/Pink/Blue)
Don't you love the digital look of this belt? It reminds me of Tetris. It also reminds me of that time I painted the nails on one hand lavender and the other blue.

£25.00 @ http://tinyurl.com/2bvysut

Balenciaga City
Though I can't find this specific color anymore... that sucks because I lurve this color. I lurves it. Then again it's a $1500+ bag so it doesn't really matter, heh heh.

I spotted this in Marie Claire. It costs $745... somewhere. I'll update with that information, I have to look in the magazine again.

Ok, I am officially tired. More later!

Rock the Skinny!

I was skeptical of this trend for a while. I'm still pretty skeptical about the way some people where skinny jeans but overall, the skinny is in.

Rock & Republic. Again, if you can afford it. I think they're on sale for like a little more than 200.

This is from Marie Claire. Not sure if those are leggings or pants but regardless it's a nice look. I like how they paired a loose, plain, white button-down over those glitzy pants.

Also from Marie Claire. This reminds me of Express for some reason.

This is here because I'm intrigued. Whoa, they're striped! (Classixshop.com) They also have star spangled ones. How patriotic :)

True Religion! I'm not sure if each pair is different but anything with even a hint of a splatter design sets my geekery into motion. Jackson Pollock!

JCPENNEY. That's right, you can get these at JCPenney. In the youth section I think.

Hellz Bellz The Warhol Jean. Simple demin skinnies.

These were from Karmaloop.com. They unfortunately don't sell them anymore. I really like the wash. Speaking of Karmaloop, I was just browsing their website to confirm that they don't sell these jeans and I spotted a whole bunch of other skinny jeans I liked. Yay!

Shoes Shoes Shoes

So... as anyone who likes Converse and other similar canvas shoes knows, canvas shoes tend to fall apart faster than others. My current Forever21 pair has a beautiful rip on the side. The other shoe doesn't though, but the result is still the same. It rained today and my feet were SOAKED. So today, I'm going to post drool-worthy (at least in my opinion) images of SHOES. I love SHOES.

Oh btw, this is a total eye candy post. So while I may know where some of this stuff can be purchased, for now my focus is to drool. Well I'm not the drooling type so the focus here is to have little hearts appear over your head since everyone knows how much fun that is. I suddenly want to watch certain episodes of O'Grady... However, if anyone wanted to know I can probably find out where to buy this stuff. Except for the ones that aren't sold anymore.

First up: DIANA HIGHTOP WITH ZIPPER SNEAKER by Coogi
I spotted a girl wearing these while I was on the escalator at the mall. She was WORKING it. I'm never assertive enough to go ahead and compliment people on their style but I'm always thinking it. Maybe I should, I'm sure they'd be happy. They also have them in a light blue. This image is from the Dr Jay's website.

Military Style Boot by Forever21
But don't go there and try to buy them because they disappeared literally a day after I first saw them there. If you read my last post you'll know what I'm talking about. What was even stranger was the fact that they were a featured item. I'm STILL upset about their disappearance and it's been forever. I really liked these and if they made a comeback I'd totally buy them.

I'm not sure what these were called but apparently Karmaloop.com doesn't sell them anymore. What a sad day this is...

I don't think I need to say much about these. I sort of like the ad more than the shoes. And the tights. But hey, here is a testament to the fact that Coach does indeed make stuff without their brand name plastered everywhere. (Marie Claire)

The Gaga Heel by Zigi
I'm not sure if that has anything to do with Lady Gaga but I did see some celebrity wearing these heels. I'm pretty sure she wasn't Lady Gaga though. Buy them at Karmaloop.com. Wow, I want to wear heels... all I wear are sneakers. I like sneakers but I kind of want to wear heels now.

These are men's sneakers but in the sneaker world you can usually find the same pair for women. However, as this is a screenshot from G-Dragon's Heartbreaker music video... I don't actually know where you'd buy them. I could search them up but I think they're cool more than wearable.

This is cropped from Marie Claire. Seriously, this is an awesome ad. And those shoes...

UPDATE: ...are Christian Louboutin's. I can't find the exact pair but I'm working on it.

Ladies (I really dislike this word) Military Boots: My1stwish.co.uk
I don't like that word mostly because ladies reminds me of women who have garden parties and stick their pinky out while drinking tea. While there's nothing wrong with that, I just don't want to be one of those women. I've always loved combat boots so it's nice that they're in fashion now. I still have my pair from before they became fashionable.

I wasn't going to put any canvas shoes here but no matter how cold my toes get and no matter how many pairs of these I go through, I'm still going to buy them. I've never gotten a white pair before and I've always liked them. I'll just have to not wear them everyday. Canvas sneakers are definitely not everyday shoes. You can buy these literally anywhere.

I heart Guess. But I especially like this heel. It seems painful, but worth it. Image from the Guess website.

Rock & Republic! I came across these on Polyvore. If you're less crazy, you can buy them in all black as well. But I love the blue and grey. Work it! That is if you have the cash, anyway.

Sandal season is coming up. You know, after all this rain. But I totally saw a girl in flip flops today so it's all good. I guess she figured, hey, my feet are going to get soaked anyway. I'd do that but the rain water in the city... bad idea. (Karmaloop.com)

You know, I really like Karmaloop. They have awesome stuff. I think they have this heel in another color too but I'm not sure. There's also the fact that they may have stopped selling it.

Supra TK Society
If I have my way, these will be my next pair of sneakers. (Karmaloop.com)

Zipper Booties from Karmaloop.com.

And now I'm hungry. Late night dinner!

Finals Fashion!

That's quite amusing actually because for me, finals fashion = lots and lots of t-shirts/tank tops + jeans. Sometimes it equals odd combinations of all my favorite articles of clothing. They're usually not that odd actually, maybe a little boring. If I slept less and procrastinated even lesser, I'm sure finals fashion would be a lot of hoodies, skinny jeans, and kicks that I actually decided to wear. The accessories would probably make up for the general 'understated ran out of the house' look. Cuffs, bags, etc. I don't know about other people, but when I'm stressed and sleep deprived, I wear what requires the least thought. My style is more there when I have time to think about what to wear.

So... I'm digging into the folder on my hard drive with my collection of images that were supposed to be part of an inspiration wall... but now they're part of an inspiration folder. Very exciting. Stuff I'd probably end up wearing during finals starts here.

I found this hoodie on the Forever21 website (that's where the image is from) and I don't know if anyone else noticed this but just because you see something on the website, doesn't mean it's going to be there when you come back with your credit card. This happens to me ALL the time. Things disappear. Literally. So I usually take a screenshot and save it to my inspiration folder. I really liked this hoodie so I was pretty disappointed that it disappeared.

I think this disappeared too. I don't really like wearing 'people' on my clothes but this is more of a silhouette. Anyway I love tanks and tanks with swirls of color are even better.

I liked Emma Watson's Burberry ads for the most part. And while she's looking pretty hot wearing something simple (haha, Burberry is simple, now?) like this, I have definitely worn something similar with a lot less glamor. It usually goes something like this: "Right, so I'll wear these jeans and that tank... and I'll grab a granola bar on the way out." The image is from Maria Claire. I have a convenient Zinio subscription. A surprising combination is listening to podcasts and reading Marie Claire on Zinio. Well that's a bit of a lie, I don't actually read it. I look at the pictures. I'm a child I know, but honestly I have a large scale mistrust of fashion magazine articles. They're already sort of distorting our perception of beauty just with the modeling so I'm not going to consider their opinion credible. But I really like magazines. One of the reasons is pretty stupid; they're glossy and thick and I find that sort of exhilarating. The other reason is, I like to critique the ads and photoshoots from a design perspective. And of course I look at the clothes and stuff for my inspiration folder (ha ha).

This is something really lacking in my closet right now. Long(ish) hoodies. Long works too but I really like long hoodies and pullovers. That's an easy lazy day outfit. Long hoodie, skinny jeans, done. This one is a Hellz Bellz one from Karmaloop.

Another Forever21 tank. I haven't checked to see if this one disappeared or not but I'm totally a sucker for this kind of stuff. Cutesy people annoy me, but cute stuff? Nope, forget about it. If I didn't share a room and strategically avoid going to places like Hallmark and Animal Alley at Toys 'R Us, my room would be covered with stuffed animals. Cute animal + tank? Works for me.

I just had to put this here. Also on Karmaloop, this is like the ultimate 'I'm sleep deprived and stressed out and look kinda of scary' hat. It can also be used to sleep in class without being detected. You know you're going to go home and study anyway, why pay attention in those last few classes of "There will be 10 questions on the final, blah blah blah." Seriously, I don't know what's the point of us still going to class. I'm ready to take the final and go on vacation.

These pants are AWESOME. I can totally live in these throughout finals. But that'd be gross and I can't do the laundry everyday. So comfortable. Karmaloop.com

I don't think I actually need to say anything about this. The guy on the shirt is basically what I look like after finals are over. I'm usually sleeping through precious vacation time and look kind of crazy. Oh and I really may have a large 23 scrawled somewhere. Seriously, it's amazing the things that you do while stressing without realizing. Karmaloop.com

Now back to studying.
